The decision you keep deferring
The hire, the hard conversation, the thing you'd tell any peer to do this week. Your mind keeps producing reasons to wait, and every one of them sounds like prudence.
A 10-session course from a licensed counselor
Mindset Evolution is a 10-session course for leaders, owners, and professionals who want to make decisions from their values, follow through under pressure, and stop letting stress set the agenda. One hour a week, with a licensed counselor and a private community of people carrying the same kind of load.
Takes about two minutes on Skool. Card required, not charged for 7 days. Cancel in two clicks.
Two minutes. You're in the community and Session 1 opens right away.
About an hour. Get clear on what you want to be about — then commit to one action and post it.
Ten weeks of building patterns on purpose, in the gaps of a full calendar.
Sound familiar?
You don't have a discipline problem. You've built a career on discipline. The patterns that run your work are just not the ones running the rest of your life — and under enough pressure, the wrong ones take the wheel.
The hire, the hard conversation, the thing you'd tell any peer to do this week. Your mind keeps producing reasons to wait, and every one of them sounds like prudence.
You're off the clock and still in the meeting. Replaying, rehearsing, forecasting. The thoughts run the show long after the day is over, and the people at home get what's left.
When the pressure is high, you react instead of choose — sharper than you mean to be, or quieter than the moment needs. The values you'd name on any leadership retreat don't show up in the moment.

The approach
The course is built on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — one of the most researched approaches in modern psychology, and one of the few with a research base in the workplace itself. The skill it builds is simple to say and hard to do: stay present, make room for what shows up, and act on your values anyway. It's what lets you make the call under pressure and be the same person at 6 p.m. that you were at 9 a.m.
In workplace studies, that skill — researchers call it psychological flexibility — has predicted mental health, job satisfaction, and job performance a year later, and randomized trials of ACT-based worksite training have reduced distress and improved wellbeing. (Bond & Bunce, 2000, 2003; Flaxman & Bond, 2010) This isn't positive thinking. It's seeing clearly what's helpful and what isn't, then choosing your next move on purpose.
What's inside
Each session is a video lesson from Michael, a printable Session Guide with the worksheets, and one action for the week ahead. The sessions build on each other — the order is the method.
Make a commitment to yourself and get clear on what you want your life — not just your quarter — to be about.
Preview the Session 1 Guide (PDF)Values become goals: a vision 6–12 months out, SMART goals tied to values, and your first weekly action plan with the obstacles named up front.
The moment between what shows up and what you do next. Towards and away moves, and what it means to be hooked — and to unhook.
The passengers on the bus: thoughts and feelings that try to steer. Name yours, and trade the discomfort scale for the willingness scale.
Fact vs. story. The noticing technique that creates space between the thought and the reaction — and the new story your actions will build.
The brain's spotlight on danger, grounding through the five senses, and making room — having a feeling without letting it choose the direction.
The wall between you and what you want isn't made of danger — it's made of discomfort. Notice what the brain wants and choose the opposite, in small repeatable moments first.
How repetition builds automatic patterns — for or against you. Check in on your values and goals and choose one pattern to strengthen.
Build your Ongoing Growth Plan: the strategies you'll keep using long after the course, with a person to share it with.
Biggest takeaways, the finalized growth plan, and the TOWARDS framework you can return to at any scale — a whole new direction or a single hard meeting.
Why weekly? The rhythm gives you time to reflect, take action, and build momentum between sessions. Plan on about an hour for each session plus practice during the week. Some sessions can be stacked; most people get more from taking them one week at a time.
The community
Leaders have very few places to be honest about what's actually hard. This is one: a private group with the person who built the course in it, and a weekly rhythm that keeps you moving without another meeting on your calendar.
Who it's for
If that's where you are today, please start with professional support. Here's where to find it.
The real question
You've bought courses before. Most online courses are never completed. This one is built so that following through is the easy part, not the hard part.
Sessions are released on a weekly rhythm, so there's always one clear next step — never a backlog waiting to make you feel behind.
Session 1 starts with a written commitment: when, where, and how long. You already know this works; it's how you run everything else.
You write as you watch. The worksheets turn each idea into one action for the week ahead.
Michael and the community are in the same Skool space. Post a check-in, ask a question, come back after a brutal week.
Your guide
Michael is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Everest Therapy Solutions, a values-driven group practice in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He built the practice while working as a clinician — so he knows what it is to run something and carry the weight of the people who depend on it.
For more than a decade, he has helped people understand how a "normal" human brain leads us into automatic patterns, and how intentionally practicing new ones gradually rewires the brain so the new patterns become automatic instead. He recognized that many of the research-based strategies capable of creating lasting change are only accessible inside a one-on-one therapy setting, yet they benefit far more people than those seeking treatment. Knowledge alone rarely creates lasting change; without guidance, structure, and practical application, it's hard to turn what we know into the patterns that shape our days.
After more than 18 months of development and a decade of testing these strategies with clients, he built Mindset Evolution to make the tools accessible while preserving the guided experience that makes one-on-one work so impactful. These are the same tools Michael uses in his own life — including in running his own business.

About an hour a week for the session and its Session Guide, plus small actions you're already going to be in situations to take. It's designed for a full calendar: one clear next step each week, sessions that stay available if a week gets away from you, and no meetings to attend unless you want the live Q&A.
Neither. It's an educational course built on ACT, a model that is used in therapy — but the course itself isn't designed as treatment. Therapy takes your history, your health, and your circumstances into account; a course can't. The tools pair well with a therapist or a coach if you have one, and they don't require either.
Only members of the private community — nothing is public, and there's no algorithm or advertising. You choose what you share; a first name is fine. Plenty of people start by watching and post when they're ready.
Yes — email Michael about group access for a leadership team or staff. The course works well as a shared language for a team, and the community can be set up as a private space for your group.
You'll finish with an Ongoing Growth Plan and the TOWARDS framework, and your membership drops to $19.99/month for continued access to the community, live Q&A, and new material. Stay as long as it's useful; cancel whenever it isn't.

An important note. Mindset Evolution is an educational personal growth course. It is not therapy, not treatment, and not a substitute for professional support. It is not suitable for people in acute crisis, with active safety concerns, or with untreated psychosis.
If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the U.S., or contact your local emergency number. If you're looking for a therapist, Everest Therapy Solutions can help you find the right support.
